RTL is a small company with our only office in Rochdale where we have approximately 8,000 sq./f of workspace.
Incorporated in 1994 with two directors, Karl Gresty (Service Director) and Richard Hurdus (Technical Director) RTL has grown through quality of service. Both the directors are Ferranti trained completing the traditional apprenticeship & college years and being indoctrinated with quality standard BS5750.
RTL has a core client base whom differ greatly in their services/products. As an outline we service industries in manufacturing, building, education, local government, libraries and information services, ISPs, law firms and retail outlets. Some are very large companies that insist on all their suppliers having quality systems in place whilst others are smaller firms with more informal attitudes to the work environment. Whoever we work for, we like to believe we offer the same professional service to all.
Ultimately we are a repair centre, repairing electronic equipment to component level but much of our work takes us out to clients' sites to carry out repairs. We occasionally use subcontractors to work on projects where by labour needed is outside our skill range (this tends to be building and fabrication work.)
We do supply equipment but are not partnered with any particular manufacturer so we are not restricted with what we can offer.
Ideally, we have long term relationships with our clients so that we can foresee future requirements for both service and equipment.
